A month ago, I changed purses and left out my lip gloss. I never put it back into my purse again after that. I remember putting it on a table and seeing it there for several days when I would pass by. Then it disappeared.
So I pulled a card to ask where it was. I got the Sun. This told me it was either near a source of heat or light. I nosed around a couple of lamps, but didn't find it. I went to the kitchen and pulled open the junk drawer next to the stove. I knew it wasn't there, but I was trying to find the heat/light clues. I had just taken a really hot shower and the bathroom was still very steamy, so I thought I'd look there. Maybe it ended up in a bathroom drawer somehow.
When I got to my bathroom, my daughter was in there brushing her hair. As I pulled open a drawer, I asked her if she'd seen my lip gloss. She said no. Then she said it might be in my butterfly pouch. This is where its normal home is, when it's in my purse. It's always in my butterfly pouch. I told her that I have opened that pouch every day since the lip gloss has gone missing. I had put another lip gloss in there, as a replacement, that I've been using. The original lip gloss wasn't in there. But. I decided to check anyway. And there it was. I have NO idea how the heck that got back in there. I swear I didn't put it in there, and I haven't seen it in there despite opening that pouch daily. It was crazy.
So... the Sun card was very interesting. It didn't point me to where the lip gloss was hiding, but it did point me directly to the person who had the answer. Very interesting. Another item found after weeks of being missing, thanks to a simple pull of a card!
