Sepiafoto Lenormand: Jury Duty

This morning, I did not know what to make of the cards I drew for the day. It looked like some type of forced public commitment. Ring + Garden would normally indicate a wedding to me, but that Anchor in between is more like the old ball and chain. A commitment that you had to make (Ring + Anchor), rather than one you wanted to make. Done in public, either with or in front of a group of people (Garden). I had no idea how that would play out in my day. Sounded like a shotgun wedding.

I tried to get a hold of my mom a few times this afternoon, and she wasn't answering her phone. She told me this evening that she had her phone shut off because she was servinig jury duty. Ohhhh! Okay! Right away I thought of my cards and it made sense.

Jury duty is a committment (Ring) that you are obligated (Anchor) to agree to, and is done with a group of other people (Garden).

Looking back, I realize Ring + Anchor could indicate a work contract, but I didn't get that impression when I first read the cards. My first impression was a forced public commitment. Bingo.

I can't wait to order my deck! I no nothing at all about Lenormand cards so there is much to learn. I'd like to take advantage of the amazing option of personalizing some, but I guess I need to do a little homework on the meanings first. When is the deadline again?
I'm just so tickled pink to see daily posts from you I don't know what to do! It's more like hot pink/magenta LOL!

What a great interpretation Kiki! There are always different way to read the cards, but your first gut feeling about the meaning is usually the correct one.

Hope I don't get that combo! lol
