Today's cards made me think of my aunt, who I think of as the Queen of Wands. This Queen is rather somber in this deck, which is uncharacteristic of her. The scene behind her reminds me of the Five of Wands, with people fighting... and she is standing there looking a bit sad. She is struggling with something. As it turns out, my aunt is experiencing a serious health issue, and she's not happy about what the doctors are advising her to do. In the Three of Wands, she stands naked and vulnerable, as one sometimes is at a serious doctor's visit. She is entering new territory, as this card indicates. I see the Ten of Cups as us, her family, surrounding her with love and support. She is dearly loved and cherished in the family. I wonder if these cards indicate new news from her... or if it's maybe just a reminder to send her a little message today.
