I am moving in less than two weeks. August 19th to be exact. So of course I did the numerology to see what tarot card(s) that date represented. First I added up the individual numbers. (8 + 1 + 9 + 2 + 0 + 1 + 1= 22.) The Fool. Yes! Could it get more accurate than that? The brand new start of a long journey! We will be driving across country, which will take quite awhile, and starting over fresh and new in another state. The Fool is the perfect card to represent the first day of our new journey! And, I have been seeing the master number 22 all over the place for the past month.
Reducing the number 22, we get 4, which is the Emperor, which is also superbly appropriate, as my stepdad will be driving with us cross country. And The Emperor is the father of the tarot deck.
I did a second count, this time adding up the date numbers as separate units: (8 + 19 + 2011 = 2038 = 13.) Death. Yes, again! Not only is it our first day of our new journey, it is also our last day in this home, in this city. The end of our life here.
It looks like I picked the perfect day to move!

What perfect cards Kiki! I can't wait to hear about how the trip/move goes! Sending angles to guide your way on your adventure toward your new life!
Hi again Kiki! This was the post I wanted to comment on first of all, but I forgot all about it ... But I think I should tell you about how you've inspired me! You see, up until I came across your blog I've never been interested in experimenting with different decks. It was me and RWS 4 ever. In fact, the only "other" deck I had was the Universal Tarot ... But then when I read about your experiences with different decks and your takes on them it really inspired me - the way you use your imagination to see stuff in the cards and make connections. And then I saw this little pig and fell head over heels ... It reminded me so much of a little crocheted piglet with big, blue eyes from Beth Doherty's wonderful amigurumi book! And now I have had the Magical Forest deck for a month and I love it! Like the Five of Cups with the little red eyed rabbit who to me looks like he is a bit ashamed and hung over ... There are sooooo many more decks that I want too ... Halloween tarot is soon on it's way to my mailbox. Thanks for helping me widen my horizons! (It's going to be expensive purchasing all those decks though ... lol)
Sorry for being so late to respond. I am just now starting to get to the emails and comments left while I was traveling. It may take awhile to get through them.
Thank you so much VKitty! The angels you sent made a huge impact, as our travels went off without a hitch! xoxo
Froey... I'm so thrilled that I inspired you to branch out to new decks. It can become addictive, for sure. But you'll always have a special bond with your RWS, which is a good thing. The Magical Forest is my favorite, so I'm always happy to hear I've turned someone else onto those awesome little critters! Glad you're enjoying them. And the Halloween Tarot is fun. I'll be using it at the end of this month. Thanks for writing... enjoy your new decks!!
Thank you, Kiki, for writing back! Yes, the RWS will always be a dear friend. Oh, by the way I've now ordered the Good Witch, Bad Witch oracle cards too ... So glad I could get a hold of it, because it looks so nice. Thanks again for the inspiration!
I wish you a happy week :)
