Today marks the 3-year anniversary of my blog! To celebrate, I'm having a giveaway! Up for grabs is a brand spanking new, still-shrink-wrapped copy of the awesome Sun and Moon Tarot! U.S. Games decks make up the majority of decks I have used on my blog all these years, and also account for most of my favorite decks. So, in light of these facts... here are the contest rules:
1) Leave a comment on this post telling me what your favorite U.S. Games deck is and WHY you love it so.
2) Include your email address with your comment. I must have a way of contacting you, and I won't track you down by searching your profile.
3) (Optional) For another entry, follow/"like" Tarot Dame on Facebook, and leave another comment here on the blog, letting me know! (I will only count comments left on this blog post, not on Facebook, so be sure to come back here!)
4) (Optional) For yet another entry, subscribe to my Free eZine, and leave another comment here letting me know you've signed up.
If you are already a friend on Facebook and/or an eZine subscriber, leave separate comments anyway, letting me know you already are, so that you can also have the added entries.
I will hold a random drawing at midnight Saturday evening, October 2nd. The winner will be announced on the blog (and notified via email) on Sunday, October 3rd.
Disclaimer: Entries not adhering to the complete rules above will deleted and ineligible for winning.
Read my review of the Sun and Moon Tarot here, and see all my blog posts with the deck here.
Thanks so much for being a part of my tarot blogging experience for three years now!

Okay lovely people... I'm going to post this reminder only ONCE. Those not adhering to the complete rules will sadly not be eligible to win. And I *really* want everyone to be eligible!! :) So please read the rules carefully BEFORE posting.
Elaine... Yes, I will ship internationally. :) But you must tell me WHY the HR Mini is your fave.
Joanne... The Robin Wood is not a US Games deck.
I'm not sure if Blogger will allow you to revise your entry. If it does, please do so, so that your entry is complete. If not, please delete your first comment and enter a new one.
Thank you!!
I've been wanting the Sun & Moon tarot! Happy Birthday! :)
I love your blog. It's been a huge enabler for many of my tarot purchases. My wallet thanks you! ;)
My favorite ever US Games tarot is Morgans Tarot. The funky b/w line drawings and quotes. I'm a child of the 60's and 70's, and this deck really resonates with me, with all it's hippy vibes. :)

Ooooh so excited! Sun and Moon Tarot is on my MUST HAVE list! My favorite US Games deck is my mini Hanson Roberts. Love love love it!! I love that the deck is traditional but I find the artwork to be friendly and less intimidating than a lot of other decks. I like a lot of other 'artistic' decks but Hanson Roberts is the one I always return to. I like the mini because I have small hands and it "just fits right".

My favorite US Games deck is Tarot of a Moon Garden. I'm really attracted to the beautiful colors and the images are full of fantasy and mythical creatures. This deck just always puts me in a good state of mind and takes me to my "Happy Place".

My favorite US Games deck..the hanson roberts.. Mostly because of it's smaller size..easier for me to handle and the artwork is easy on the eyes :)

I don't know why my comment came out as "anonymous", I didn't choose that-- my name is Mona and I'm already following you on facebook. (diotima20002000@yahoo.com)
I really love my recently acquired Halloween Tarot. Thanks for the tip! I do love the tin, and I love the artwork on it, and how old-fashioned yet whimsical it is. I've thought of buying it for quite a while but didn't until recently.
I hope you don't mind me joining the contest! There's something kind of interesting about this deck.
I'm sorry...I...uh...seem to have lost my e-mail address. Lol. Sorry. Just kidding.

Mona (not anonymous) said . . . Oops! Sorry, I was positive my Mythic Tarot was U.S. Games and I was positively wrong! :-) So another favorite deck would have to be my Universal Waite. I'm very drawn to the classic PCS designs, but I so prefer the more colorful version. Not everyone agrees with the slight changes, I know, but I need the added color. I just do. This is the deck I use most often and I really find it more helpful and accessable than the original. (diotima20002000@yahoo.com)
My favorite deck is the Hanson Roberts deck because it is so easy to read and beautiful.

So far, my favorite US Games Deck is the Rider Waite -- but thanks to your posts (I read via Google Reader and your posts are very enlightening!) I have seen other decks that I like too.
Thanks for sharing your readings!

I love the Goddess Tarot deck for its feminine imagery. So pretty compared to some of the other decks out there. (I love the pic on the front of the sun and moon tarot too)
Congratultaions on your birthday :D

I also follow you on facebook :D
I love my Fantastical Creatures deck. I wanted something with mythical creatures, but I didn't want it to be one type of creature like the Dragon tarot or something. I also find the deck really speaks to me. It's one that I can find all sorts of detail in it, without pulling out the magnifying glass (like I have to for the Shadowscapes). Plus the artwork is simply breathtaking.

O.K.
You talked me into it...
Extra entry for liking you on Facebook (you pulled my leg!)
(sings)
"You made me follow you on Facebook. I didn't wanna do it.
I didn't wanna do it!
You made me want to read your insights on tarot...
and all the time I knew it.
I guess I always knew it!
You made me happy sometimes,
you made me glad,
but there were times, dear,
you made me look into the icky stinky poo-filled bowels of my existence, but it's not so bad!"
etc.
XO,
Celeste
p.s. I did want to read your blog, of course! ;D
This entry is for an extra draw. I also subscribe to your Ezine.
I was going to do another song parody but I decided not to torture you.
What a fantastic giveaway! Such an adorable deck and seeing your readings with it only made me love it more.
My fav US Games deck is my first: the Spiral by Kay Steventon. No matter what my mood, the situation or the questions, this deck always answers clearly. It doesn't hurt that it has some of the loveliest Majors out there, especially with me being a sucker for mythology!
Also, the Spiral says I'm going to win, so don't go proving it wrong now ;D My email addy is [ submerina @ gmail . com ]
Thanks, Kiki lady!
p.s. Our blogs are very nearly borthday buddies! I'm writing my giveaway up right now :D
The contest is now closed to further entries. I will announce the winner tomorrow!

OMG, KIKI, am I late?? It is still October 2nd in tashkent.... :(
Anyway, I will share: my MOST EVER favorite deck is Radiant Rider-Waite Tarot by US Games. My journey to it led through some five different, lovely decks, and I purchased the R-RWS just because I thought I MUST have this traditional deck. I was so so cold towards it until I took it in my hands and shuffled for the first time... and then, I could NOT leave it. The energy of the symbols and collective consciousness behind this deck simply pushes the meaning of your layout into my head. Its bright colors trigger emotions and memories beyond the ways I can explain! It is very easy to read with R-RWS and the strength of my intuition when I am using it simply delights me! The size is just right for comfortable shuffling AND a good outlook of the pictures. And the cardstock is nicely laminated, sturdy and will serve for many years! I LOVE this deck, and even if I am out of the draw I still wanted to share. Thank you for the attention!!!
Victoria... So sorry, dear. I had already done the drawing at midnight my time. Thank you for sharing your favorite deck though. I enjoyed reading your thoughts on it. The Radiant Rider is one I've been wanting for awhile. :)
CONGRATULATIONS to submerina, the winner of the giveaway! I've posted an announcement, and have emailed you, submerina! :)
It looks as though the Hanson-Roberts is the most popular among the readers who entered! I have both copies of the HR myself, with extra fondness for the mini one!
Thanks to everyone who entered the giveaway! I loved reading about your favorites, and the reasons behind the love! :)
Love,
Kiki
