The Ace of Pentacles indicates money matters. The King of Wands and Prince of Wands seems like a whole lotta testosterone to me. As I mentioned before, I see the one on the horse (unicorn here) as the Prince/Knight, and the one on the chariot as the King, but since they both appeared, it really makes no difference. This duo made me think of my dad (Aries) and his son. The Prince being a Mini-Me of sorts, bringing home the image of father and son. These two are preparing to attend a weekend show next month, and my dad is scraping up money (Ace of Pentacles) for the hotel stay and other expenses. I saw evidence of this today, and as the rest of the day was pretty equally uneventful, I guess these cards are merely describing the mundane as they often tend to do.

Not sure how I feel about this deck, so I'm looking forward to more posts from you so I can see a broader array of images. The ace of Pentacles is pretty enough, but I expect more from my wands, you know?
I associate wands with inner fire and being spirited, and both of these court cards in particular feel heavy and burdensome in their imagery. So I totally understand how you'd come back with a mundane interpretation.
I actually like this deck. It reminds me a lot of the illustrations from The Little Prince.
I saw this deck advertised somewhere else. It feels very lifeless and heavy to me. But as I realised with the Shadowscapes, things often look different in your hands, rather than scans. Like you, I do find the Thothy switch hard to work with. Especially here. That King looks so much like a knight and the prince looks so much like a king.
I think it's kinda cute. I've gotten considerably less picky about tarot over the years.
Well I take it back. I seem to go back and forth between picky and extremely lackadaisical and thoughtless when choosing decks. It's kinda funny, actually.
I think it's great to have decks with all different personalities. Kind of like having different types of friends or relatives.
Yours Rantingly/Goofily,
Celeste
