Today's cards made me laugh. Oppression vs. Debauch. It brought to mind "All work and no play..." which is how my life has felt most recently. The cards really are spot on today, because last night I decided that today I would take a day off from the heaviness of the challenges surrounding me. I would take one day to just do things that make me happy. To be free from everything that is weighing me down and troubling me.
As it turns out, even more garbage was dumped on me today. I sunk even lower from the added weight of the Ten of Wands. This was not what I had in mind for today.
The third card, the Two of Pentacles, indicates a healthier balance between the two previous cards. The scales are way too heavily burdened by the Ten of Wands, and there is not nearly enough debauchery going on in my life! The keyword on this card is Change. The balance must change, and be more evenly distributed. Tonight I will have a glass of wine (which I never do) and watch a funny movie. That's as close to debauchery that I can manage at the moment, but I'm hoping it will be enough of an escape from the oppression, however brief. I definitely need the stress relief.
