These cards are cracking me up. The Ace of Wands appears again, relating to my new website project. She has a satisfied smile on her face, which is how I am feeling today. The Knight of Swords was me yesterday... the website warrior. I worked most of the day on my dad's site, then spent the rest of the afternoon/evening/night on my own site. I was shocked when I looked at the clock and it was nearly 2 a.m! I am never (ever, ever) up that late. Normally, my body shuts down completely around 11-12 o'clock. And at 2 a.m., I wasn't even tired! I was wired. But I shut down my computer and went to sleep, because I knew I would feel it in the morning if I didn't get enough rest. This Knight of Swords behavior is so unlike me, it was bizarre. I was very much like the faerie in this card, determined and hell bent on getting it done! I was still buzzing inside as I lay in bed.
The World card shows that my work is almost done! Thanks to the extra hours I was able to put in last night, I made so much progress, and I will be able to launch the website sooner than I had expected to. I will still be working on it, adding more elements to the site as time goes by, but it will at least be suitable for viewing very soon.
I love the World card in this deck. The snail lets me know that now I can take it easy, and pace myself, since most of the work is now done. Funny, my mind also made the connection, my site being on the World Wide Web. :)
