Today's cards came to life in a most wonderful way. The Six of Pentacles told me that I would be receiving something today. (I also went to the post office this morning to mail out some tarot bag orders, so I thought it might also be alluding to that).
The Stars card reminds me of my Tarot Dame logo. So this card gave me the idea that I would be receiving something related to my tarot business.
And the Knave of Chalices looks with interest at the fish in her cup. This card reminds me of the dreamy Pisces quality that my son possesses. He will sometimes be off in his own little world, oblivious to what's going on around him. I always tell him he's off in La-La Land. So with this card, it looked to me like whatever it was I'd be receiving would be something that would pique my interest and have me mesmerized.
A few hours after drawing these cards, my son ran to the mailbox in the rain. In his arms was a package for me. (Funny that I drew his significator card, and he's the one who delivered the parcel to me.) Inside the package was a newly self-published tarot deck. It's a review copy that I have been excitedly awaiting. So these cards were right on the money! I am indeed enamored of the deck and its presentation.
I must wait for the go-ahead from the deck creator before posting images on my blog, as she doesn't have the website ready yet. So hopefully I will be able to share this new treasure here with you soon!
As a side note, I found it neat that I mailed a bag out to someone in the UK today, and the deck I received was mailed from the UK. I thought that was a lovely example of a Six of Pentacles cycle.

OohOoh! I hope we get to see images of the deck you just got.
And now I have to add Fey to my wishlist. Ack!
If it's the deck I'm thinking of, I'm going to be incredibly jealous. =)
You have a very special relationship with your cards and they seem to enjoy working with you :) Anyone considering whether to get a reading from you only has to read your blog posts to see what a good idea that is!
I just love that it was your son who brought the parcel in...
KG: Of course! I will be using the new deck for a week of daily draws, and writing a review at the end of the week.
Ryan: I don't know... what deck are you thinking of? :)
submerina: How synchronous! I received notification of your comment the split second after I sent an email out to my clients requesting testimonials for my new website! :) Although it's not officially a client testimonial, would you mind if I shared your lovely comment on my new site?
Please do! You really do wow me with your posts :) Best of luck with the new website too. May the Swords be with you!
