This morning as I was shuffling for my daily draw, the Six of Pumpkins flew out of the deck. I decided to leave it at that, since the Trick or Treating theme in the card epitomizes Halloween for me right now. In fact, we did our Halloween costumed outing last night. The neighborhood had a parade, and the participants threw out candy to all the neighborhood kids who were all dressed up in costumes. So that was our version of trick or treating this year.Since my kids don't eat candy, every year they leave their candy out for the Halloween Witch, who in turn leaves gifts for them. So they woke up this morning very excited to find out what the Witch had left them!

Update: Funnily enough, I also drew this card when doing my sample reading for my Original Spread section in my eZine today. Pretty neat! I'll be playing the role of Halloween Hermit tonight. The doorbell upsets the dog, so I'll be hiding upstairs, reading tarot by candle light!
