While I was looking up card scans for my Full Moon Reading, I found this tarot picture my son drew last year when he was 8. He was inspired by Patrick Valenza's artwork in the Deviant Moon Tarot deck. Can you guess what card of the tarot it is?
I'll update this post tomorrow with the answer, but if anyone wants to leave a comment with their guesses, I'll bet my son will be really interested to read them, as would I! (I'll also share some of my thoughts on the image, once the card is revealed.)
My son has created several tarot and oracle cards, but this is the only one I had scanned. I'll have to search and see if I can find some of the others to share here.

The lantern says it all doesnt it? At least I hope so - so my wild guess would be for the Hermit. By the way I love the fact that your son is taking such an interest in your tarot work!
Yes, the lantern gave it away! :) My son has an oracle deck (Animal Messages) and tarot deck (Pirates) of his own, but he hasn't worked with them much in the past couple months. He was much more into it last year. He really digs the Deviant Moon and Fantastical Creatures decks too. :)
It will be interesting to see if he ever picks up the tarot thing with greater interest as he grows (and my girls as well).
I know I'm late on this, but yeah, I saw the hermit too -- with the Moon thrown in for good measure. In fact, it reminds me of the Moon from the Tarot of the Crone deck...have you used that?

Hi Nette!! :) No, I don't have the Tarot of the Crone. I'll have to see if I can find a scan of the Moon card from that deck now! :)
